Background

The GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) is organizing the Sixth Gulf Laboratory Efficiency Conference under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Commerce and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization, Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi. It will take place alongside the strategic partnership with the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia held on the 18th and 19th of October 2022.

This version of the conference is an out of the ordinary opportunity for specialists and workers in the testing and calibration sector to communicate and discuss recent trends and the most prominent solutions and challenges of the laboratory sector.

The conference will be held for two consecutive days, as the conference is a platform for specialists in the region to exchange and share experiences. Additionally, it will also enable them to learn about the most prominent trends, technologies and the results of new research in this field.

The slogan of the current edition of the sixth conference entitled “Laboratory Efficiency for Safe and Sustainable Food” comes to highlight the most renowned challenges, opportunities and solutions within modern trends with the participation and presence of specialists in the laboratory sector from the member countries of the GCC Standardization Organization.
