GSO Technical Council Honors Former Members
The Technical Council of the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) honored its former members in recognition of their efforts and contributions during their tenure representing their countries in Technical Council meetings and various GSO activities, as well as their role in advancing standardization and strengthening joint GCC cooperation.
The recognition took place on the sidelines of the 63rd meeting of the GSO Technical Council, held in Riyadh on 16–17 September 2026, in the presence of Their Excellencies, members of the Technical Council, chairs and members of technical committees, and representatives of the national standardization bodies of the GCC Member States.
The meeting also honored the chairs and members of GCC technical committees that demonstrated outstanding performance in the development of Gulf standards during 2024 and 2025, in recognition of their efforts and contributions to advancing standardization activities and enhancing the Gulf standards framework.
On this occasion, H.E. Eng. Jabor Mohamed Al-Naimi, President of the GCC Standardization Organization, on behalf of the Technical Council members, expressed his sincere appreciation to the former members of the Technical Council and to the chairs and members of the GCC technical committees, particularly those recognized for their outstanding performance. He commended their efforts and valuable contributions to advancing standardization and standards activities at both the national and GCC levels, thereby strengthening integration and supporting the progress of joint GCC cooperation.
