The GCC Training Center Organized Eight Training Courses in July
The GSO Training Center of organized virtually eight training courses in July 2020, as a part of the GSO’s efforts to deal with Covid-19 pandemic consequences, ensuring the work continuity to build technical capabilities of NSBs and the relevant organizations.
These training programs included very important topics such as The role of technical regulations in supporting GSO member states during crises, Standards and covid-19, and Gulf measures for the Gulf system to track the conformity of toys products and electrical appliances during the Corona pandemic. Also, other courses were organized including Developing the Leadership Skills of Chairs and Secretaries of GSO Technical Committees and Sub-Committees, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Standards, and The Technical Requirements for Conformity Assessment. The upcoming training programs of GSO annual training plan address many other important fields such as, Expiration Periods of Food Products and Labeling of Prepackaged Food Stuffs, Conformity Assessment for Motorcycles, Medical Devices and Accessories Standards, Standards for Plastics, ACI 318-14 Building Code Requirements for Concrete Structures, and other courses.
