GSO –YSMO Capacity Building Program on Energy efficiency in Aden
A training week program related to providing energy efficiency card issuance services concluded today in the Republic of Yemen in the temporary capital, Aden.
The program was organized by the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) in cooperation with the Yemen Standardization, Metrology and Quality Control Organization (YSMO), within the framework of implementing the agreement to provide energy efficiency card issuance services signed on March 4th, 2024. between GSO and YSMO.
During the week, a number of programs and workshops were held, notably a workshop on the essentials of energy efficiency programs for air conditioners, an awareness training program on the requirements for notification of conformity assessment bodies, and the preparation and development of instructions and forms for notifying conformity assessment bodies, as well as the preparation of regulation and supplementary standards for testing, in addition to training on the requirements of the Gulf standard for energy efficiency of air conditioners.
