GSO ISO 5508:1994 Scope
This GSO standard gives general guidance for the application of gas-liquid chromatography to determine the qualitative and quantitative composition of a mixture of fatty acid methyl esters obtained according to the Gulf standard to be approved by (GSO) on “Determination of Fatty Acids in Animal and Vegetable Fats and Oils - First Part: Preparation of Methyl Esters of Fatty Acids”.
The method is not applicable to polymerized fatty acids.
