GSO 2791:2025 Scope
This standard outlines a method for detecting primary aromatic amines in rinse-off oxidative hair dye products. It employs Gas Chromatography coupled with Flame Ionization detector GC-FID analysis and aims to ensure compliance with safety regulations. Most of the nine primary aromatic amines are prohibited, with some being restricted under GSO 1943 "Cosmetic Products – Safety Requirements of Cosmetic and Personal Care Products."
