GSO EN 14183:2022 Scope
This European Standard specifies the requirements for step stools, stair type steps and dome type steps stools. This includes design characteristics, dimensions, materials, performance requirements, test methods and the declaration of suitability of use. The standard excludes ladders and stepladders as defined by EN131-1:1993. The requirements are based upon the maximum total load of 150 kg.
