GSO IEC 60510-3-2:2015 Scope
This standard gives methods for measuring the figure of merit (GIT) of earth station receiving systems operating in the 4 GHz to 6 GHz range. One method, using stars having known flux densities at the site of the earth station, takes into account the error caused by various parameters.
An indirect method is also given.
