GSO ASTM A1008/A1008M:2012 Scope
1.1 This specification covers cold-rolled, carbon, structural,
high-strength low-alloy, high-strength low-alloy with improved
formability, solution hardened, and bake hardenable
steel sheet, in coils and cut lengths.
1.2 Cold rolled steel sheet is available in the designations as
listed in 4.1.
1.3 This specification does not apply to steel strip as
described in Specification A109/A109M.
1.4 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units
are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in
each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each
system shall be used independently of the other. Combining
values from the two systems may result in non-conformance
with the standard.
