GSO 579:1995 Scope
This Gulf standard specifies the combustible material prohibited from using in the manufacture of any kind of toys. It also specifies flammability requirements for certain types of toys when touching an ignition source. It includes the methods of test for the following types of toys:
– Disguise costumes (such as cowboy clothes, etc.)
– Toys that can be entered by the child (such as tents, marionette theatres).
– Soft toys covered with hair and soft toys made of cloth.
