This Standard is concerned with service stations where the flammable liquids are handled in dispensing and washing processes and in all other processes, where liquids are stored in closed containers not exceeding 0.23 m3 capacity, in tanks located underground or in aboveground tanks. Also this standard is applied to those plants or buildings which contain chemical operations such as oxidation, reduction, halogenation, hydrogenation, alkylation, polymerization, and other chemical processes. It also applies to chemical plants, refineries or distilleries.
