Project Scope
This standard is concerned with the method of test for the frontal impact strength of passenger cars, multi-purpose passenger vehicles, trucks and buses with GVW less than 2500 kg.
In case of steering displacement test, the weight of the trucks and buses is of GVW of 4536 kg or less and with an unloaded vehicle weight of 2495 kg or less. However, it does not apply to walk-in vans.
