Overview

This three-day training course is designed for qualifying Assessors registered in GCC Accreditation  Center (GAC) to better understanding the requirements of ISO/IEC 17065:2012 (formerly ISO Guide 65)- conformity assessment - requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services

What You Will Learn:

Through presentations, discussions and exercises, you will:

  • review the accreditation requirements of ISO/IEC 17065:2012
  • identify what content (including types of documents and data) may be helpful in demonstrating compliance with each requirement and how this content is reviewed during an assessment
  • define terminology and identify documents, best practices and other resources that can be helpful in building an understanding of the standard
  • become familiar with the ANSI accreditation process and its reliance on not only ISO/IEC 17065, but also the International Standard ISO/IEC 17011, Conformity assessment - General requirements for accreditation bodies accrediting conformity assessment bodies
