GSO IEC 60642:2014 Scope

This standard relates to piezoelectric ceramic resonators for use in frequency selection circuits. I E C Publication 68: Basic Environmental Testing Procedures, shall be used in conjunction with this standard. This standard gives general information and general methods of measurement and test common to many types of ceramic resonators. The applicability of the tests to each type of ceramic resonator and the specific requirements for each test shall be given in the article sheet relating to that type. In case of conflict between the requirements of this specification and the article sheet, the latter shall take precedence.
