-The Gulf Metrology Organization (GULFMET), as a Regional Metrology Organization (RMO), is internationally recognized under the Mutual Recognition Arrangement (MRA) of the International Committee for Weights and Measures (CIPM). It is tasked with the responsibility of implementing the Quality Management System (QMS) review for National Metrology Institutes (NMIs/Dis) in member of states to support mutual confidence in the accuracy of Calibration and Measurement Capabilities (CMCs) of member institutes within the organization.
Therefore, this program has been established to train peer reviewers from technical metrology committees and various disciplines to undertake this responsibility.
