The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), in cooperation with the Gulf Standardization Organization, is hosting the Second Gulf Metrology Forum to highlight the effective role of countries in enhancing metrology activities and quality infrastructure and their contribution to achieving leadership in several sectors including the economy, industry, consumer protection and other sectors, and to enhance standardization activities by exchanging experiences with scientists. Metrology at the regional and international level, and providing the opportunity to hone national competencies by learning about the latest developments and technical knowledge in this field and meeting representatives of standardization bodies in regional metrology groupings، Directors of international bodies will attend the forum to participate in this event, such as the Directors of the International Bureau of Weights and Measures (BIPM) and the International Organization for Legal Metrology (OIML), directors of regional metrology bodies and other dignitaries.
