The emphasis of this training course is on the practical aspects of length and dimensional calibration. This course is designed for metrologists who use dimensional measurement tools, calibrate dimensional measurement instruments, and require estimation of the measurement uncertainty to complete their daily tasks.

The course is a mixture of theoretical and practical sessions that cover various dimensional calibrations (eg. Hand instruments, Gauge blocks, and, Diameter standards) as well as estimation of uncertainty in measurement.
