Course Objectives

• Enhanced Performance of Codex Contact Points : Planning and Operations of Codex Programs in Countries of the Arab Region / Gulf Cooperation Council

Course Outlines

* Role and Operations of the Codex Contact Point

* Development of Codex Positions: Principles and Application

* Contributing to the Development of Consensus in Codex Proceedings

Target groups:

1.     Food & health technicians, supervisors, engineers working in food establishments, workers in the food control institutions, consultants working in food safety.

2.     All types of organizations and individuals working within the food chain.

3.     Workers in the health authorities, regulators and municipalities and customs.

4.     Workers the privet sector in the food and beverages production ,catering ,restaurants, hotels, hospitals, airlines, and food service workers in the trade sector, industry. 

5.     Food scientist in any food legislation, control and standardization & Specifications departments.
