# Course Objectives
The course aims to present and explain the conformity assessment procedures within the technical regulations for product safety in accordance with the methodology adopted by the GCC Standardization Organization (GSO) and implementing mechanisms, as well as explaining the means to check the effective implementation.
The course aims as well at explaining the various conformity assessment procedures within the relevant international standards, and the relation between the various systems of conformity assessment and the technical regulations, while providing some international and national experiences.
