The course objective:

Obtain understanding of the requirements and accepted procedures for proficiency testing.   This will include demonstration of competence in these requirements and procedures.

  • Selection and Use of PT (Informative Annexes A and C)
  • Class exercise in design and planning
  • Technical requirements - Statistical design, Informative Annex B
  • Technical requirements - Homogeneity and Stability, Data analysis, Evaluation
  • Statistical methods for PT - determining assigned value and evaluation statistics
  • Revision of ISO 13528
  • Class exercises in homogeneity and data analysis with robust statistical procedures.
  • Examination and discussion of examination answers
