Course Objectives:

1. Identification the requirements for the establishment of quality system for national institutes of metrology

2. Unification of concepts and visions among workers in the institutes of metrology and relevant organizations in our Arab region.

3. Identify the mechanisms and requirements of both the international recognition of measurement capabilities granted by the Metrology Institute and the requirements of accreditation of Testing and Calibration Labs in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025.

Identify the main instructions of ILAC to achieve the metrological support and the location of the institutes of metrology of these axes.

There is no doubt that metrology is currently playing a vital role in unifying the global measurement system and raising the quality of the products that are exchanged among the countries of the world. This leads to a serious attempt to break the barriers and overcome the obstacles to find a mechanism to facilitate the growing global trade movement. In addition, metrology and its applications have received great attention, and still, at this time through the National Institutes of Metrology (NMIs), which are possessed by almost all the countries of the world. This offer aims to ensure that the plans of these institutes are compatible together in the process of laying the foundations and bases on which the foundations of the establishment and development of the Quality infrastructure. This attitude is necessary to have a unified system of quality management at the level of the institutes of metrology. This will be activated during implementing these efforts internally then help in the dissemination through the various sectors of industry and scientific research. In addition by achieving the metrological support of the results of measurement given by these institutes for the different measurement systems and calibration. Therefore, the training program plan (which will be in accordance with ISO/IEC17025:2017) will be concerned with explaining and clarifying the requirements of this quality management system institutes in a serious attempt to unify the frameworks and concepts between the institutes of metrology in our Arab countries.
