Objectives :

The regional training aims to achieve the following objectives:

a) Highlight the requirements of the new edition of ISO/ IEC 17011:2017 for the bodies assessing and accrediting conformity assessment bodies (CABs).

b) Improve overall performance of the National Accreditation Bodies and achieve a deeper knowledge on all the related requirements of an accreditation body.

c) Provide mechanisms, techniques and recommendations to facilitate the implementation of accreditation requirements.

d) Provide a forum for exchange of information and to promote discussion among the National Accreditation Bodies in the region.

Rates are inclusive of buffet breakfast at Courtyard Restaurant and in-room Internet access. Rates are offered based on the requested dates and number of rooms required. Rates will be reviewed if the request change. Transportation charge is OMR 30 net per one way. *All rates are subject to 8% service charge, 4% tourism fee, 5% municipality fee. Check in time is at 14:00 hrs. If earlier arrival is required, it will be subject to availability and may be subject to an additional charge and must be discussed in advance.  Check out time is 12:00 hrs. If later access is required this may be subject to an additional charge and must be discussed in advance. Late check-out: Until 18:00 hrs. 50% charge of the room rate will be levied.
