Qualifying the specialists of accreditation of conformity assessment bodies(According to ILAC&IAF training requirements)

This course aims to train accreditation managers and will cover what an AB employee needs to know about the essential accreditation requirements and practices. This course will be organized over 3 successive weeks, and will also contain on site assessments of laboratories and inspection bodies. Certificates will be delivered based on the success in the weekly exams of the program. Attendance certificates will be delivered to the rest of participants. This training is the first basic step in a the bigger program for the habilitation of accreditation managers in member states, the same participants will be required to attend the following specialized training sessions to achieve the intended level of knowledge.

Course Objectives:

  • Training of future accreditation managers on the essential requirements for their tasks.
  • Completion of the training of assigned accreditation managers on harmonized practices of accreditation in the GSO member countries.

 Who should attend? 

This training is specific for the employees working in conformity assessment and accreditation activities in the members states. It is required that participants have:

  • Scientific university diploma (engineering or equivalent)
  • More than 2 years of professional experience,
  • Knowledge of quality and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Commitment to participate in the next training sessions of the accreditation manager habilitation program.
