استقبل سعادة الدكتور أنور العبدالله الأمين العام لهيئة التقييس لدول مجلس التعاون في مكتبه بمقر الأمانة العامة للهيئة بمدينة الرياض مؤخراً وفد من سفارة جمهورية الصين الشعبية بالمملكة العربية السعودية برئاسة السيد/ يو زيرونج - القنصل الاقتصادي والتجاري، والسيد/ لي وو - السكرتير الثاني للتجارة الصناعية، والسيد/ زهاو فينج - سكرتير ثالث بالسفارة.
هيئة التقييس تنظم البرنامج المعتمد للمواصفات في مايو المقبلتنظم هيئة التقييس لدول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية وبالتعاون مع الإدارة العامة لشؤون المختبرات والتقييس بوزارة البيئة في دولة قطر أول برنامج من نوعه في المنطقة بعنوان" البرنامج المعتمد للمواصفات: الإعداد والتطوير" وتستضيفه الإدارة العامة لشئون المختبرات والتقييس بالوزارة، وذلك في الدوحة خلال الفترة 02- 20 مايو 2010م.

The First Arab Forum to protect consumer from commercial fraud which was held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at the end of the year 2008 also, recommended the adaptation of the first of March as a day of Arab consumer where the GCC Standardization Organization participates with the Standardization Organization in the Arab States the celebration of the Arab day for the consumer which was celebrated for the first time last year under the auspices of the League of Arab States and under the slogan "Do what you can do to protect the consumer."
